Rumours regarding a drop-top Lamborghini Reventon have been roaming around since about March. The other reports around the Reventon roadster stated that there would be a reveal for exclusive customers.

Well, now the rumours state that the drop-top Lambo will be at the Frankfurt 2009 Motor Show, which is in September. The news is not official, however it’s always good to dream — right?

It’s said that the Reventon will have a 670-horsepower V12 engine from the Lamborghini Murcielago LP 670-4 SuperVeloce. Production is expected to be around 9 units only.
